Free Webinar: The Unrecognized Trauma of Missing Women of Color

Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month is observed each July to bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental health illness in the United States. In support of awareness month, APA's Area 4 Council is pleased to host the following virtual event:

The discussion will be lead by two exceptional leaders from Minnesota:

  • Representative Ruth Richardson from the Minnesota House of Representatives, was the Chief Author of the Missing and Murdered Black Women and Girls Task Force in MN.

  • Senator Mary Kunesh from the Minnesota State Senate, was the Sponsor of Legislation and Chair of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Task Force in MN.
